Size Up Your Door
Benchmark pre-hung doors are available in the most common sizes: 6’8" or 8'0" tall and either 32" or 36" wide. That means we’re likely to have a door that fits your space. Before you select a new door, you’ll want to measure your current one. Get our tips on how to measure your door opening.
Expand Your View
Now is also the time to think about the configuration you want. If you’re replacing your door and doing a very simple remodel, you might not be able to modify your existing configuration. A single replacement door might be just what you need.
But if you’re doing a more extensive remodel, or building new, think about adding sidelites or a transom. A sidelite on either side of your door (or both) will let in more natural light and create a more welcoming entry. Or consider adding a transom above the door to add height to your entrance and welcome light while maintaining more privacy.
